Our Training Facility is a joint effort to ensure HVACR professionals in Ontario are trained to the highest standards of skill, integrity, safety, and quality.     Ontario Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ORAC)

    ORAC represents the largest body of HVACR contractor practitioners in Ontario, serving the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. As a not-for-profit organization, ORAC has led the industry for over 50 years, advancing quality and safety through initiatives like the Technical Safety and Standards Committee (TSSC), which represents its members with the TSSA and the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). ORAC plays a key role in legislative discussions and ensures Ontario’s HVACR trade contractors remain at the forefront of industry advancements. Learn more about ORAC here.

    United Association of HVAC&R Workers of Ontario (U.A. Local 787)

    UA Local 787 represents skilled professionals in Ontario’s HVACR industry, advocating for fair pay, standard hours, and safe working conditions. The Local supports its members by representing them during workplace grievances, negotiating Collective Agreements, and providing industry-specific training and skills development throughout their career. UA Local 787 also oversees union resources that manage pensions, insurance and benefits, ensuring its members’ long-term security. Learn more here.

The United Association Local 787 for HVACR Workers of Ontario, along with the Ontario Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ORAC), have been built by HVACR community for the HVACR community. Together, we advance the quality and safety of our industry. UA Local 787 advocates for fair compensation, safe working conditions, legal representation, quality benefits, pensions, and ongoing training and skills development for its’ membership, while ORAC represents the largest body of HVACR contractor practitioners in Ontario, serving the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sectors.

Together, we are actively constructing a new training facility, a joint native that will act as a best-in-class centre for HVACR excellence, offering hands-on learning from established industry professionals. From JTAC course curriculum to career development, certification, and skills upgrading, this facility isn't just about learning the trade—it's about investing in its long-term future.
